A.I. SIRES

Most of the breeding in our program is accomplished through natural service. We do not believe in supporting the ever popular "bull of the month" club, and we can't prove our own herd bull selections if we don't use them...:) We at least try to keep several different bulls represented in each crop, but we like to see our own bulls work, know that they are settling the cows, and keep our cows in a tighter season for contemporary groupings. We have collected and purchased semen over the years from our own sires and from proven sires within the breed, many of which are trait leader sires. These bulls are currently being used in our embryo flush program and some will also see future use through AI within the herd. They are being used to inhance correct frame structure, increase weaning and yearling weights, add pigmentation, and of course give us a group of productive daughters.
