Calf weaning times: We have two seasons, Spring and Fall.

We started our herd with a heifer calf purchased, as a promise to our son, from the late Charles Branton Herd. We had always admired the breed and thought the calves uniquely precious. It wasn't long until the sweet disposition of our son's heifer convinced us to buy another for our daughter. The rest is history. We are concentrating on breeding the characteristics into our offspring which will move us ahead, and increase the quality and performance of our herd. As each new generation of calves are born on our farm, we see the progress and development of these characteristics which we hope in the end will be an asset to the breed.

"Calves"

We offer a small group of good bull calves for sale each year. The bulls range from 7 months to 15 months old. Some of the calves are placed in a bull test. The bulls coming out of the test are fitted, breed age bulls which come with the added benefit of carcuss and weight gain data. The price of our bulls range from $1000 and up, depending on age, size, breeding, and negotiation! Check out the Sale Barn for bull calves currently for sale. All of our breed bulls come with a guarrantee, and will be semen tested prior to sale unless other arrangements have been made between the buyer and seller. Heifer Calves

We try to offer about ten good heifer calves for sale each year. The heifers range from 7 to 15 months old. Some of the heifers will have already been bred. The heifers are bred to registered bulls either naturally or by A.I The price of our heifers range from $1000 and up, depending on age, size, breeding, and negotiation! All of our breed age heifers come with a guarrantee, and will be palped to confirm pregnacy prior to sale unless other arrangements have been made between buyer and seller.
