SIRE:  Bar JZ Tradition 434V
DAM:   Gerber 117F Trish 057J
"Malachi" was purchased from Matt and Melissa Gillespie out of Ohio.  His Dam was a cow which sold in the Gerber Dispersal bred to Bar JZ Tradition 434V.  Malachi was the resulting calf.  The bull has excellent EPD's and some of the very best in maternal and carcass genetics in the breed.  We hope to use this bull extensively in the future.  He is a moderate frame bull with outstanding muscling and thickness, and he is fully pigmented.  He is shown above, in the center of a heifer crop he was exposed to at the end of April 2003.  He was just a yearling.  He sires small thick calves with good pigment.  We used a good son.   Spring Pond Farms in New York used a full brother.
